R422D refrigerant is an HFC refrigerant that is simple to use and has zero ODP (ozone depletion potential). It has a refrigeration capacity and efficiency very close to R22 and has a lower exhaust temperature than R22. Under low-temperature conditions, which provides a cooling capacity of up to 8% and an efficiency of 14% more than R22; at medium temperature and a subcooling degree of 10°F (6°C), the cooling capacity of MO29 is about 5% lower than that of R22, but the efficiency is equivalent to that of R22!
