Over the past 7 years, We, the Egyptian Company for Environmental Development, as one of the first national private sector bodies that addressed many ofthe important issues facing the Egyptian society such as poverty, unemployment,health and education, are supporting institutions and NGOs. We succeeded in providing many pioneering initiatives and programs aimed at achieving comprehensive and sustainable development, in partnership with governmentand private entities, which resulted in the creation of thousands of real job opportunities, high-quality education and access to basic services for more than 20 thousand beneficiaries in 24 governorates of Egypt in Upper Egypt, Delta Region and bordering regions, specifically in the most vulnerable geographic regions, with a total budget estimated at more than EGP 20 million.

Our Mission

Supporting sustainable development solutions to alleviate poverty and social and economic exclusion. In addition, working to provide equitable educational opportunities for those most marginalized in Egypt, through cooperation with civil society institutions and both private and public sectors.

Economic Empowerment

1- monitoring and analysis of global environment related technical and commercial tendencies and international regulations and their policy and economical implications on the respective sectors of economy and industry of Egypt.
2- collection of respective technical and commercial information and creation of the data base for further business use by the Group

Increasing access to high quality education

3- Supporting and assisting in financing education programs at all levels, pre-primary, primary, technical and vocational education, in addition to higher education

Increasing access to high quality education

1- Supporting the grant of scholarships for outstanding Egyptian students to complete their studies inside and outside Egypt in cooperation with international bodies
2- A specialized educational institution has been established, which is able to meet the urgent needs of the community in occupational crafts and technical training.
3- Supporting and assisting in financing education programs at all levels, pre-primary, primary, technical and vocational education, in addition to higher education

Social Empowerment

1- Improving access to health care services (Hepatitis C treatment, liver transplants, improving maternal and child health)
2- Supporting and protecting homeless and marginalized children and delivering vocational training courses for them.- Strengthening infrastructure in villages and areas of greatest need.
3- Empowering women socially and supporting them to obtain their right to education, identity, dignity and security.
4- Delivering specialized training programs for people with special needs.
